Hi, I'm Cindy Scott (aka CJ), and I really enjoy being able to capture the love family members have for one another! I work with couples at the beginning of their love stories, young families who are adding new littles, and older families with busy growing children and teens. It's really rewarding when the teens grow up and start their own love stories and love comes full circle.
In addition to taking photographs, I've become very passionate about getting those images out of digital formats and into something printed where they can be touched and enjoyed. A recent study showed that more than half of all consumers haven't printed a single photograph in more that twelve months. 70% don't have any photo albums, and 42% no longer print photos at all. When I think of the enjoyment my own son gets from looking back at photo albums and reminiscing about the "olden days" (his term!) and remembering special people who are no longer with us, it makes me sad to think that there may be whole generations who will never experience that joy. Clients say that I'm really easy to talk to, and I truly adore hearing all about the people I work with. It's extremely important to me that I provide an exceptional customer service experience for my clients. I have a very large extended family, but unfortunately, they all live on the east coast. Even though we get together regularly, photographs are a way I can have them with me - feeling their love - when we're not together. To me, there is nothing better than being able to capture the love my clients have for one another by creating beautiful images that I know they'll cherish forever. When I see clients get teary-eyed as they view their images, I feel like I have the very best job in the world! Here's what some of my clients have said:
When I'm not photographing people, my two dogs are very happy to keep me company. I have a 13-year-old Australian Shepherd and a 4-year-old Blue Heeler/Doberman mix, and you can find me at the local dog park daily. I love country music and will trade my soul for Trader Joe's gluten-free Ginger Chunk cookies...yum! In the summer, I tend to do a lot of reading while I hide from the Arizona heat, and in the winter, I enjoy riding my motorcycle outside of metro Phoenix. I travel frequently to visit my family in Virginia Beach. I tell them I visit so I can get my beach fix - isn't the smell of the ocean relaxing? - but seeing my extended family with all their noise and constant activity helps keep me grounded. Family matters; that's why I do what I do. I'd really like to work with you and yours. Use my Contact page to arrange a session now!
